All work and no play makes this Goal Digger a very dull girl so I decided to join my friends on a trip to Puerto Rico. It was my first time on the island and it was a good experience. Some of what I enjoyed on the trip is how nice and helpful the people are. I had to do a lot of driving while there and let’s just say I never realized how ‘hilly’ of a place it was. It was terrifying driving to the rain forest and also to the river for cave tubing but we made it. 🙂
Here are some pictures from the trip. Enjoy!
- We got the opportunity to visit EL Yunque National Rain Forest. It was such a great experience. We got to swim by this waterfall called La Mina. Its the major waterfall in there so it’s usually crowded but the Hike and drive to get to it was worth it.
- Oh hi there. As I watched the sunset and appreciate nature.
- We visited The Home of the Pina Colada. It’s where the drink was created in 1963 and they cost $7.50 🙂 (Thanks for the info Anthony Bourdain)
- Castillo San Cristóbal…… So much history.
Love PR. Been several times on the island for work and then stayed over for pure pleasure. Visited Arecibo where they’ve been trying to contact aliens for years. Pretty interesting. And mofongo, Kai I hear Old San Juan calling me…….
